Bridge Engineering 2 Conference Papers 2009, University of Bath
This set of papers forms the proceedings of the Bridge Engineering 2 Conference 2009 held at the University of Bath in Spring 2009. It contains 39 papers, written by undergraduate students of civil engineering in the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, as part of their Bridge Engineering 2 taught unit.



Each paper provides an insight into the design and construction aspects associated with a single existing bridge. The entire set of proceedings and accompanying website were produced by the students themselves and serves as a record of the conference which was held to facilitate discussion of each bridge

This year 2010, ACEE with its theme “Disaster Risk Reduction and Capacity Building for Safer Environments”, will cover a wide variety of topics related to Earthquake Engineering. ACEE 2010 will provide an excellent forum to bring together researchers, professionals, engineers, scientists and academicians to promote and exchange new ideas and experiences in the broad fields of seismology, earthquake engineering, seismic risk and disaster mitigation.
